Nutrition and diet – Which is for me?
If I want to lose weight I need to change the way I eat.
I don’t eat terribly unhealthily but I do eat too much, I’m often tired from travelling and that tends to make me pig out in the evenings. I also do enjoy a beer (or two) – probably a bit too often. More recently when I’m tired I’ve realised that carbohydrates (peanut butter sandwiches!) literally put me to sleep.
Starting Meditation
As I said in my post about washing machine brain, I started meditating regularly last summer. I thought I’d tell you how I started, give you a few pointers to things that worked for me and an update, almost a year on, of the difference it has made.
Turning things around
So here we are… I’m now past my 40th birthday (this summer) and I need to make some changes. I’ve tried to take a close look at myself and my habits and decide what what matters to me. I want to improve my chances of living to a ripe old age. I want to be less tired and I want to feel comfortable in my own skin. My wish list of changes is enormous, however I think to start with I’m going to focus on one thing: Lose weight – get healthier
What can I do to achieve this? Well, taking it step by step is probably a good start!
